ABOUT THE FARM

Welcome to Ember Valley Farm, a family-run farm nestled in the beautiful Kyogle region of New South Wales. We’re tucked away in a quiet spot bordered by the Richmond Ranges and the Richmond State Forest, creating a peaceful, natural environment for our animals and produce.

At Ember Valley Farm, we take pride in keeping our farming practices ethical and sustainable. Our hens enjoy plenty of space — fewer than 150 per acre — which is well below the organic standard of 1,500 per hectare and far better than the government’s free-range limit of 10,000. It’s all part of our commitment to giving our animals a healthy, stress-free life.

Our approach to farming is rooted in regenerative and sustainable practices. Through rotational grazing, our animals always have access to fresh pasture while the soil gets time to rest and rebuild. Our chooks play an important role in this process, naturally turning the soil and enriching it with their manure, helping to create a thriving, balanced ecosystem. And of course, our bees play a crucial role by  busily pollinating our crops, plants, and wildflowers, keeping everything in bloom.

When you choose Ember Valley Farm produce, you are supporting a farm that is passionate about regenerative systems, the well-being of animals, and the health of our planet. Thank you for being part of our journey towards a more sustainable future.
